The Secrets of the Jungle Night

This is an original poem by K 1

The full moon illuminated everything in it's path, showing the darkness, expelling it's wrath.
A horrible scream cuts through the night, leaving all that heard it shivering with fright. Waiting for dawn is not very easy, especially for people whose stomachs are queasy.
I'm afraid it gets worse as the night wears on, specifically for those waiting for dawn.
The night creatures are on the prowl, quietly creeping with thunderous growls.
But some soar into the starless black, circling silently before they attack.
Deep in the heart of the trees and what not, cannibals throw this and that in a pot.
Then the soft yellow glow of the sun starts to show. And the sun lights the earth once again.
