High School Tag--You're It!

1. DID YOU DATE SOMEONE FROM YOUR SCHOOL? Yes I did, but just once and then I decided we were better off friends, and we were.

2.WHAT KIND OF CAR DID YOU DRIVE? A Brown 1974 Chevy Nova, oh yeah, it was hot--especially after I wrecked it in front of my school and my dad replaced some of the body pieces with mint green pieces he'd found at the wrecking yard. Don't be jealous.

3. DID YOU PASS YOUR DRIVER'S LICENSE TEST YOUR FIRST TRY? No, I did not. Everyone said to take it in another city because their test was easier, but the perfectionist that I am had to prove that I could do it at the tough test site--so dumb!

4. WERE YOU A PARTY ANIMAL? No, sadly I was too naive and a total nerd.

5. WERE YOU CONSIDERED A FLIRT? No, most guys wouldn't give me the time of day, unless they needed help on their homework--again, total nerd.

6. WERE YOU IN BAND, ORCHESTRA, OR CHOIR? Not in high school.

7. WERE YOU A NERD? Again, despite my best efforts--yes. It just seems like it's hard for some people to take me seriously, or really get to know me. Does that mean I'm still naive?

8. WERE YOU ON ANY VARSITY TEAMS? No, I was a competitive gymnast until I was about 14, so I wasn't really at the high school level for any other sports, (ours didn't have gymnastics). So I was a student athletic trainer and actually earned my letter twice I think with that.

9. DID YOU EVER GET SUSPENDED/EXPELLED? No way!

10. CAN YOU STILL SING THE FIGHT SONG? Sadly no, since I was a cheerleader my sophmore year and had it memorized then.

11. WHO WERE YOUR FAVORITE TEACHERS? Mr. Stametz, math--we both went to ASU; The Late Mr. Eric Kautzky, athletic training, he will be missed.

12. WHERE DID YOU SIT FOR LUNCH? Usually outside with friends--anywhere but the cafeteria.

13. WHAT IS YOUR SCHOOL'S FULL NAME? Tigard High School

14. WHAT IS YOUR SCHOOL'S MASCOT AND COLORS? Tigers, Green & White--"Go Big Green & White, Go Big Green!" (I really was a cheerleader).

15. DID YOU GO TO HOMECOMING AND WITH WHO? I don't think I went to Homecoming at my high school. I did go to Beaverton's with Jamie something. He tried to tell me he loved me and I honestly couldn't reciprocate, that was the end of that.

16. IF YOU COULD GO BACK AND DO IT AGAIN WOULD YOU? Definitely not.

17. WHAT DO YOU REMEMBER MOST ABOUT GRADUATION? They wouldn't let us do anything fun, like throw beach balls or anything like that. And the girls had to wear sheer, white grad gowns, what are you supposed to wear underneath?! Honestly.

18. WHERE DID YOU GO SENIOR SKIP DAY? I honestly don't remember, probably no where.

19. WERE YOU IN ANY CLUBS? Nope, I started teaching gymnastics when I was 14, or 15, so I worked a lot. Unless you count being a student athletic trainer.

20. HAVE YOU GAINED SOME WEIGHT SINCE THEN? After I graduated yes, but now I seem unable to keep weight on--it's really not as great as it seems.

21. WHO WAS YOUR PROM DATE? Brian Betsinger--it was totally lame and much too long of a story for this.

22. ARE YOU PLANNING ON GOING TO YOUR 10 YEAR REUNION? H-No! Again, most of the people I went to school with didn't really respect me, I doubt anyone even noticed that I wasn't there.

23. DID YOU HAVE A JOB IN HIGH SCHOOL? Yes...several actually. I worked at I worked at Westside Gymnastics, teaching preschool and beginning level classes, as well as summer camps, etc. I also worked for a short time in the pro shop kind of thing at a Jazzercise studio.

Now I tag my friends in CA, Marilyn, Shelli, and Sandi.
