What am I thankful for? Of course I am thankful for my beautiful children and how they push me to be a better person. I'm thankful for my loving, supportive husband who carries enormous burdens for the sake of our family. I'm thankful for the Gospel of Jesus Christ and that I get to be a part of it and that I get to teach my children about it and make it a part of their lives. I'm thankful for my parents and their generosity and patience in opening their home to our family. I really don't know where we would be without them.
This one is a little harder-but I'm thankful for our trials. I'm thankful to have the opportunity to stretch and grow in ways that we never thought we would have to. Although painful at times, the refiner's fire does just that, it refines us and helps us become stronger, and we are better for it.
Happy Thanksgiving everyone.
