I was driving around with the little girls the other day, (surprise, surprise). Kate and I were having a conversation about when it's o.k. to wear swimming suits. (I've had to hide her's ). This was her thoughts on the whole thing.
"I'm not a winter-proof girl, I'm a summer-proof girl. That's because I was born in California. That's why I like summer and not winter."

Tell Kate that that is why I love summer best too! I would love to wear shorts earlier, but it's too stinkin' cold. Love that cute little girl and her thoughts.
