Happy New Year!

My sister gave me some beautiful hand-made cards as part of a gift this year. One of them was stamped with a quote that really struck me--maybe some of you are already familiar with it, it said, "What you do today is important because you are exchanging a day of your life for it." I'm using that to kick off the new year. I look forward to learning new things and accomplishing great things this year.

We enjoyed a snow day with my brother and his family this last weekend. The kids had a great time and I have to say that I enjoyed being able to load up and drive home and leave the snow on the mountain.

Christmas Eve Sunset--beautiful!

K4 while caroling Christmas Eve. Such a happy girl!

It's a family tradition to carol to neighbors on Christmas Eve. Here's most of the group dressed up and ready to go. The kids love this part!

K3 and her cousin, they had such a great time this Christmas getting re-aquainted. They were almost inseperable! We were so glad that they enjoyed each other's company.

so your package arrived! Great! I'm glad to hear it. I hope you enjoy the cards--I intended to mail them a lot sooner...but that's how life goes sometimes!

Did everyone like their books?
