I May Have Made a Bad Choice :~/

This occurred in a slight moment of weakness. Kenzie's mullet was driving me crazy!

Justin's comment: "It's looks really good. Quit while you're ahead!" She seemed pretty happy with it. And she liked having the bow in her hair the rest of the day. I'm not exactly sure how I feel about it. I think it's better than it was, but I was wishing that I knew how to cut hair better. (Boy hair is soooo much easier to cut! Of course I would be blessed with three girls!) :)

I think you did a great job! I would be so afraid to cut girl hair! That is great that she likes keeping the bow in now.

seriously, it looks pretty darn good! I could never cut hair like that. The straggles drive me crazy and I'm always the first of my friends to cut my baby's hair. She looks presh with or without the haircut.

It's only hair. I think you may be missing that baby who is now turning into a toddler. I just want to squeeze her!

She looks adorable! I think you did a great job. I do agree that boy hair is much easier, we just open up the price family barber shop about every 6 weeks and they come out clean cut.

Janet...I used e-6000 glue. It is really strong smelling so you need good ventilation when you use it {which at least for me...limited when I could use it and I had to time it right with the temperature outside} but after it dries completely (24-48 hours) it is washable, non-flammable...almost indestructible. At a craft store it can run you over $5 but I found it at Walmart for $2.67 I think. Something like that. All the blogs that made those cake plates recommended E-6000 and I know it gets used for a lot of other crafts too... and I am sure it wouldn't be a waste to get it to replace super glue too. It really works better.

I wanted to make us a cake plate too, but the dollar store has had a run on glass candle holders so I only found one...one draw back to living in Utah where a lot of people read craft blogs. :)

I think it looks really good! Jo Jo's hair may as well be girl hair. I've cut it several times, but last time it looked best because instead of it being frizzy in back, it got even curlier when it was wet, so now it doesn't look like a mullet.
