Broken

Here are the pictures of our car.  It doesn't look like much, and yes it could have been a lot worse.  But believe me--it's made things really frustrating and complicated in our life these days.  There is also a picture of something else that broke this last weekend.

Yes!  Kate fell off the monkey bars at the park and broke her arm.  Thankfully it's a minor break and she will only wear this cast for two weeks.  Then she will probably need to have her arm in a splint for a couple of weeks after that.  Some of you may be wondering, yes, Kate is right handed.  After her first day at school  this week she said, "I tried writing with my left hand, but it was really crappy so my teacher said that I could go look at books."  Oh the things kids say.  Of course I tried not to laugh and discussed other ways she could say that without saying "crappy".  Good times.
