So, did you sleep good last night?....GREAT! I got a full 40 minutes!

Am I the only one who feels like that this time of year? I know, it's my own fault for leaving so much until the last minute, however, I just didn't have a choice this year. I really get about 6 hours of sleep in 1-2 hour increments. I just keep telling myself, it won't be like this forever. Eventually all of our children will sleep through the night, and maybe by then I will too. A couple of weeks ago we went to see the lights at the visitor's center. Despite the crowds it was wonderful. I was so happy to be there with my children and experience it with them. K3 especially loved finding the pink lights. K4 was asleep in the stroller, so although she's not pictured she was there too. I feel so blessed to have a knowledge of the Gospel of Christ and to be able to share it with my children. We are so blessed.

O.k., some of you may have noticed that we haven't sent out cards this year. I feel really crummy about it, but there just wasn't time. I'm planning on sending something out around Valentine's day, so this picture will have to do for now. Another, more sincere reason why we didn't send cards, is that K4 is suffering, and I mean suffering from one of the worst cases of eczema I have ever seen. She looks like she has road rash all over her face and head. It is a symptom of slightly more serious problems with her digestion and possible food and other allergies. It just breaks my heart to see her like this, so I couldn't bring myself to take pictures. This one is as good as it gets. We are working on treating her from the inside out, so it will take a little longer for her face to heal. Since she is still nursing I am on a strict diet, no wheat, oats, barley, dairy, soy, chocolate--basically I am hungry all the time. But she is worth it. Despite all of this, she remains cheerful and good-natured. She is full of smiles and laughs and we are so glad that she is in our family. Again, we are so blessed.
We wish you all the best this Christmas time of year. We are grateful for our Savior and the sacrifices that he made on our behalf that bless us more than we can even imagine.

Poor sweet baby! Fortunately, I've never had a baby with that problem. I love your high school tag. It's so fun to read about people in high school.

Hey Leroy,

I am formulating some organic body cremes and other products to help Isaac and Michael with their excema. When it's finished I will send you some.

Love the family photo! We did not send out cards this year either. It's the first in 17 years! Thanks goodness for blogs now. :)
